Sir Archibald of Grimsby

This is a story I wrote whilst I was about 12. I think that it is pretty cool.

Sir Archibald of Grimsby

Once upon a yesterday, there lived a knight called Sir Archibald of Grimsby. He was a rather old fashioned knight, who had bright shiny armour and a large sword. He lived in a castle with his grandmother. He had no servants, because he was continuously paying for the three terraced houses he had bought and pulled down to build his castle.

One day, after going to the bank to pay off more of his debts, he saw a dustbin with an old woman in flying through the air. Being a gentleman and a knight at that, he raised his hat and thought nothing of it. When he got home, Sir Archibald couldn't find his grandmother. He searched from the attic right down to almost the lowest cellar, for the lowest cellar was locked. He found his grandmother's hat in her bedroom. "She only takes her hat off to sleep and to eat. Well she can't be eating, because we have no food and she isn't sleeping here so..." Sir Archibald the Puzzled, whose greatest asset wasn't thinking, thought for a while... "She must have been taken away, kidnapped even!". At this, he strapped on his large sword and galloped away on his motorbike. He rode for a night and a day until he came to the Wise Woman's detached house. Sir Archibald went inside and immediately knew why she had such an expensive house, her fees were £2 a minute. "I, Sir Archibald of Grimsby, would like to know where my grandmother has gone". The Wise Woman looked thoughtful and said "Flash your cash, mate". He showed her his money and she replied "She has been kidnapped by a wizard and taken to his tower. The wizard's name is Dock and that'll be 20 quid please". Sir Archibald the Ripped Off grumbled, but being a gentleman and a knight at that, he paid up and went off to find the wizard.

The next night, Sir Archibald the Tired arrived at Dock's tower, in Grimsby and decided to camp for the night. He tied his motorbike to the nearest tree, took his blankets out of the saddlebags and laid down to sleep. In the morning, Sir Archibald the Rested got on his motorbike and rode up to the gates, they opened and Sir Archibald was confronted by an enormous green dustbin lorry breathing fire. After a long and tedious battle Sir Archibald the Coward ran inside the tower of Dock. He walked in the semi darkness, aware that the wizard already knew he was there. Sir Archibald pressed the lift call button and when it arrived he went to the top floor. The doors opened and Sir Archibald looked around shocked, the entire room was covered with computers. Sir Archibald the Relieved walked forward and threw Dock, the computer wizard who hadn't noticed him, out of the window. He sat down at the nearest computer and turned it on. An electronic voice echoed out of the computer. "You stupid fool, your grandmother was kidnapped by Dock the computer wizard and when he died your grandmother was immediatley killed. Now play this game!" A joystick appeared in Archibald the Fool's hand and the console lit up. Sir Archibald was playing a knight battling his way through a castle to rescue a princess. Suddenly the whole room lit up and Sir Archibald shouted "Yes! I've won". A princess appeared so Sir Archibald stood up and took his helmet off. "I suppose you want to marry me for rescuing me, well you can't so go away". So Sir Archibald the Rejected walked out and got on his motorbike, which had been nicked so he promptly fell off again and walked home to his castle.
