More challenging (9/06/2009)

The latest photo challenge (I've skipped a few), is "to go through your archive and pick out your best picture so far". Any picture you've already captured or may take in the next week. It turns out this is really difficult. I'm picking out some favourites and storing the links here ready to choose. Any comments on good/bad pics would be appreciated!

Copycat Challenge (30/03/2009)

I've been following the Tuesday Challenge over at Simply Stu for a while now. Every Tuesday a photo challenge is set on a particular theme. Not that revolutionary, but fun. "Challenge" here is more often along the lines of "I challenge you to go take a picture" rather than something that is challenging.

This week the challenge was to create a reinterpretation of "Dali Atomicus". After a mad run around early at work today I managed this:

Some Photos (24/11/2008)

Some random pics I've taken recently. Click to enbiggen.

Shop in Nottingham. Bit blurry, sorry.

Colleague's calculator at work. That's a posed shot by the way, I added the sheet of calculations. Good old Ohm's law!

And lastly, the only photo I took at Hammer House of Twaddle (which was on Saturday and (funnily enough) a horror theme). The guy in the guard uniform turned up much earlier than the other one and his costume didn't make and sense until the second guy turned up, after which it was really really good. They only let him out just before the show started - had to have his drink through a straw :)

Peru photos (23/10/2008)

My Peru photos are now up on Facebook. Everyone should be able to see them, but I'll be putting them on my own website anyway at some point.
